New Chapter Opens For Calvary Quartet In April this year marked another milestone in the ministry of the Calvary Quartet. Founder member, David Strange, felt the leading of the Lord to devote all his time to the new group Revelation whose ministry is mainly dedicated to the youth. It was a hard step to leave the group that he had been with for the last 9 years, especially when his 2 brothers were also in the group but the leading of the Lord was so clear that the step had to be taken. Often many groups struggle to find replacement when a vacancy arises but the Lord's hand was in it all and before David sang his last engagement with the quartet, John Elliot from Portadown had accepted the invitation to join the group and has now taken up the lead position with James moving to baritone. John who is a Pastor's son had been singing solo for a number of years and this is his first group position. He is a fantastic vocalist and is fitting in so well with the other members of the quartet. We want to wish John and indeed all of Calvary Quartet God's richest blessing as they continue this great ministry and also David and Revelation as they embark on a new venture to win the youth for Christ.
