| The Christie Trio |
 Scottish gospel singers 'The Christie Trio' have release their second album - Written in Red.
Ruth, Heather and Alan, the three children of Alan & Jessie Christie, have dedicated the album to their Mum & Dad in appreciation of their love, care and spiritual influence in their lives as well as their practical love and support which enables them to fulfil a busy singing schedule.
Ruth, the 'big sister' of the trio, is the only member to have been with the group from the outset, having sung as a teenager with Heather and their friend Rhoda Paterson before Alan joined the group. Heather is the only member of the trio who is married. She has been married to Leslie for 13 years and they have two children, David and Jean.
Alan, the youngest member of the family, sung with Ruth and Rhoda Paterson for the recording of 'The Christie Trio's' debut album, 'Undying Love'.
Having been brought up in a Christian family by Godly parents, singing has always played a large part in the Christie Family home. Ruth, Heather and Alan trusted the Lord in their early years and have many happy memories of singing in their home church (Albert Hall, Grangemouth), Sunday School and Youth choir. |
