David Strange
David lives outside Ballyclare with his wife, Lorraine, and daughter Zara-Jayne. He was saved at the age of 8 and since his teenage years he has been involved with youth groups and choirs and also spent some time as youth leader in his local church. David began singing on a regular basis in 1998 when he was asked to join the newly formed Calvary Quartet. He has travelled near and far with this popular group and more recently began taking on solo engagements. In March 2006 David released his first solo album containing many of his favourite songs. David believes that the music ministry is a powerful tool which has been used mightily of God to win lost souls for the Saviour and encourage and bless God's people. David says himself "I never dreamt that God would use me in such a way as this. I never thought I would ever stand with a microphone in my hand in public singing His praises to countless thousands of people but God has been good. We have seen souls saved and backsliders restored and that is what it is all about."
